If you want to join the Neighbourhood Forum initiative, be added to our mailing list, get directly involved, or you have ideas about how to improve our Neighbourhood, please let us know by filling in the form below.

Getting involved

PUBLIC MEETINGS are currently held online and will be advertised on the 'Events' page at least 2 weeks in advance:
Please do come to our 2021-22 Annual General Meeting, on Tuesday 1st June 2021, for Members only, from 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm, followed by Public Meeting open to everyone who has pre-registered for the Forum’s public meetings, from 6:15pm to 7:00pm.
To date 5 working  groups have been set up:
  • Natural Environment
  • Built Environment
  • Infra-structure
  • Design
  • Maps

Becoming a Member

We ask those who are eligible and wish to become members of the Forum to complete this online form:
There is no membership fee to pay to become a Member. 
According to the Constitution (see About Us), the following may be Members: 
"6.2.1 individuals who live in the Area; 
6.2.2 individuals who work whether for business carried on there or otherwise, or volunteer 
for properly constituted voluntary groups in the Area; 
6.2.3 community and not-for-profit organisations which operate in the Area (through their 
duly appointed Representatives) and whose aims are consistent with the purpose and 
objectives of the Forum; 
6.2.4 elected representatives from each local authority ward, the whole or part of which 
falls within the Area, as ex officio members”. 
Only Members of the Forum may vote at the Forum’s General Meetings, and may serve as Officers and Committee Members.  
You do not have to be a Member to be on our mailing list, to attend our public meetings, and to contribute to our working groups, consultations and surveys. 
​We are conscious that many of our Neighbours do not have digital access, or are cautious about using computers/mobile phones for giving information over and above name and address on the Electoral Register.  If any of our Neighbours are in this position, please let us know, and we will provide printed copies of the form. 

Voting for the Forum’s Committee

Voting for the Forum’s Committee for the 2021/22 year:
Only Members who have completed the Membership Form, whether online or physical, may vote at the Forum’s General Meetings. 
Voting for the Forum’s Committee for 2021/22 will take place at the Forthcoming 2021-22 Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 1st June 2021, for Members only, from 5:30pm to 6:15 pm

Nominations for the Forum’s Committee for the 2021/22 year: 
We ask those who wish to stand for election as a member of the Committee for the 2021/22 year to register online, using the following link:
Nominations should be submitted online or physically not later than Tuesday 25th May 2021, and should be endorsed by the Proposer and the Seconder in writing or by email.
We will support anyone who is eligible and wishes to stand for the Forum’s Committee to find a Proposer and Seconder.
Only Members of the Forum may be Nominees, Proposers and Seconders.
